Current Covid-19 Travel Protocols:

  • All guests must be fully vaccinated to fly and enter events 

  • Travellers are permitted to travel to Barbados with a valid negative Rapid Antigen test OR Rapid COVID-19 PCR test result done within 1 day prior to arrival in Barbados OR a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test result done within 3 days prior to arrival

  • Download the BIMSafe app to complete the travel forms before departure to Barbados.

  • Download the ArriveCan app to complete the travel forms back into Canada.

  • Drive on opposite side of the road than we’re used to in Canada & the US

  • Tap water is safe to drink. Bottled water is not encouraged

  • Freshly painted houses: Many homeowners paint their houses a different colour every Christmas 

  • Look for "black belly" sheep roaming, they look like a tall goat!

  • Holetown - great shopping at “Limegrove”, very close to the Sandpiper & Coral Reef Hotels

  • Sandpiper Hotel & Coral Reef are within walking distance of each other - both are driving distance to The Great House

  • Barbados Time (AST) is the same as EST during the spring & summer months only, they do not practice daylight savings time

  • Consider purchasing your favorite liquor or wine at the Duty Free to bring with you to Barbados, the selection on island can be limited
